The Pokemon TCG community can finally stop guessing — our next English special set has a confirmed name, and it's a dramatic one: Ascended Heroes. While the official announcement is expected later this week, early information gives us a solid picture of what to expect.
Release Date and Product Line-Up
Pokemon Ascended Heroes is scheduled for release on 30 January, arriving just as the competitive season and collecting year begin to ramp up. The planned line-up includes:

- Premium Poster Collection
- Tech Sticker Collections
- Trainer's Blisters
- Special Collection
What's Inside: Cards from Japan's MEGA Dream ex Set
As expected, Ascended Heroes will draw heavily from Japan's MEGA Dream ex set, which launches on 28 November. The Japanese release is generating excitement thanks to its headline star: Mega Dragonite ex.
Start Deck 100 Battle Collection: More Cards on the Way
Japan's Pokemon TCG schedule doesn't stop with MEGA Dream ex. On 19 December, Japanese players will also receive the Start Deck 100 Battle Collection, a massive series of 100 different theme decks. While the exact English localisation plan has not yet been confirmed, it's highly likely that some cards from these 100 decks will be distributed through Ascended Heroes.
