Pokemon 30th Celebration · Japan
It's the big one. Creatures has revealed the full Japanese 30th Celebration set list, and it runs to 176 cards. That breaks down as 103 main-set cards (including a 30-card Pikachu subset), 32 secret rares, a 30-card Classic Collection and eight Basic Energy. Every single card in the set is foil.
The headline act is a 30-card Pikachu subset, each illustrated by a different artist and finished with a fireworks holofoil layer. The very first, #017, is by original Pokemon artist Ken Sugimori, recreating his Jungle Pikachu. The set also debuts Futuristic Rares of Mewtwo ex and Mew ex by acclaimed artist YOSHIROTTEN, and a Classic Collection that reprints famous cards from across the game's history with gold borders.
This is also the first set to launch simultaneously worldwide, on 16 September. The Japanese and English line-ups differ, so some of these will reach English as promos. Here's every card revealed so far, in set order.
